Simple and Easy Wednesday Addams Makeup Tutorial

Choosing a Halloween costume is no easy task, I often turn to film stars for inspiration when trying to decide what outfit to choose.

If you've always wanted to recreate the eldest daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams - Wednesday Addams' look. Here's a tutorial for you!

She's a very interesting character in the Addams Family. I know many 90s kids grew up fascinated with her look.

It's also a great idea for last minute Halloween Costume.

Here's the video tutorial:

Simple and Easy Morticia Addams Makeup

As part of the Halloween series, I've decided to create the beautiful Morticia Addams makeup tutorial. Her straight hair, pale skin and her makeup is hard to miss. Her makeup accentuates her pale skin.

She wears a dramatic smoky eye and a blood red lipstick. Her eyebrows are arched perfectly.

I had so much fun filming this tutorial, and I hope you enjoy watching it.

Easy Purple Eyeshadow Tutorial

Hi everyone! I've created a new tutorial using shades of purple.

Purple is one of the shades that makes brown eyes pop. Deep purple and lavender eye shade color is fine for all skin tone too!  Here's a Purple Makeup that you can wear everyday. Sultry enough to make an impact.  It's also wearable enough to take you from day to night.

A small amont of cheeck color is used to add a youthful glow to the skin. I also opt for nude lipstick and sheer gloss for fuller lips effect.

Easy SUGAR SKULL Makeup Tutorial | Halloween

Hi everyone! Since Halloween is just a few days from now, I've decided to create a Halloween Makeup Series.

The first one I created was a Sugar Skull Makeup Tutorial. Sugarskulls have gained popularity over the last few years in use for Halloween. Sugar skulls originate from the Mexican traditional holiday called Day of the Dead which is celebrated in Central and Southern Mexico on the 1st and 2nd of November. The skulls are elaborately designed with extravagant detail. The most distinctive detail is the spiderweb on the forehead.  This look is ideal for those of you who want more than your average skull Halloween look,  for a last minute Halloween costume.

 SUGAR SKULL MAKEUP

Steb by Step Guide

Step 1: I used cream eyeshadow lighter than my skin tone to cover my face and set it with a loose powder.

Step 2: Draw eye holes using pinkish red eyeshadow and an eyeshadow brush. Add the same eyeshadow to the entire circle you've created.

Step 3: Apply black eyeliner to define the circle.

Step 4: Add petals around the eye.

Step 5: Fill in the petals using your black eyeliner.

Step 6: Crate a spider web on your forehead

Step 7: Add some swirly details to your face.

Step 8: Add a hollow nose using your black eyeliner and draw black thin lines to your lips so they would look like teeth.

Step 9: Add a few more details.

Add flowers to the hair to emphasize the Mexican look you want to achieve.

What do you think about the look? We would love to hear your feedback!

Let's keep in touch!

Royale's L-Gluta Power Anti-Ageing Soap and L-Gluta Power Soap effect in just 3 days

Yesterday was my third day of using Royale's L-Gluta Power Anti-Ageing Soap and L-Gluta Power Soap. I instantly loved it for it's creamy and silky feel. It also doesn't give me a prickly feeling when I first used it. Though like other whitening products, there is a minimal tingling sensation when I left it on my face for 5 minutes. It was fun using it because it lathers well and I enjoy massaging it to my face.

Another thing that I should mention is that my skin doesn't dry out when I used it.
In the picture above, you can notice that the soap does not only lightened my skin but my pimple marks as well. And the amazing part was I just used the soap for three days. (WOW) There was also skin tightening involved whenever I use the soap but when you touch your skin, it's feeling smooth and supple.

As promised, I will continue to use this product for a month and see the effect on my skin.

Blue Smoky Eye Tutorial

Smoky eye is the ultimate night time look. It can add a sophisticated drama to your overall look. There is nothing more stunning than accentuating eyes with Smoky Eyes for special occasions. Any color can be used to create a smoky eye. Today I chose the to create a blue smoky eye.

You can watch the tutorial here:

Always remember, smoky eyes look best with neutral lips because strong eyes plus strong lips will make you look like you have too much makeup on.

Lalloopsy Doll Makeup Tutorial (Can be used for Halloween or Birthday)

I was walking in the mall yesterday when I saw a Lalloopsy Costume at a toy store.

That's when I remember that I still haven't shared my DIY Lalaloopsy Costume Tutorial. I did it to my daughter Samantha 2 months ago just for fun.

There are some kids who doesn't want to portray scary characters during Halloween. Most kids would opt to don a fairy costume or a princess costume. For those mothers who wants their daughter to have a quite unique costume this coming Halloween, hope this tutorial will help you.

For the dress, instead of buying new ones, I've searched for Sam's closet and just let her wear a tutu skirt, a leggings and a top that will contrast on the color of the tutu.

So what are you planning for your kids to dress up as for Halloween?

On my deleted makeup tutorial

Hi everyone! Last weekend I shot a tutorial for an evening party look. Unfortunately, it was accidentally deleted in my camera last Sunday. :(

Anyway here's the picture that I took using my tablet.

On Sam's Halloween Costume

Halloween is just around the corner and it's the season of scream and scares. One way to celebrate Halloween is to join Trick or Treat and Halloween Parties.

My daughter Samantha is going to attend two Halloween Parties this year. One is in her school and one is hosted by Kumon Kawit.

I am still thinking of what should she wear, and of course, to satisfy my creative side, I want a portion of her costume to be made by me (DIY) LOL. I am thinking of making a Maleficent costume for her. She will love it!

I know she can carry it well. :) I am still thinking if I should create two costumes for her, one for her school and one for Kumon but the budget is limited because it's going to be her birthday on Nov 21st.

Last year, we went to our grandma's house and there we didn't know there will be trick or treat for the kids around the neighbourhood. I immediately thought of something and viola...... an instant Halloween Costume. I just put on a white tshirt on Sam and put some makeup on her. She's really good in portraying a scary ghost isn't she? Kids are afraid to get close to her. Just look at that stare. LOL

Makeup by Me

Makeup is my first love.

I've always been passionate about makeup and beauty. I've always wanted to start my own blog, but I am not really good at writing stuff. Now blogging about makeup and other stuff became a hobby for me and I am actually putting time and effort into something I really love to do.

I've also started my YouTube Channel Make8up By Sherwyne.

We post videos that me and my 5 year old daughter make. It also serves as a bonding time for us. My daughter loves makeup at an early age. She loves it when I involve her in the videos I do. But before I started blogging and doing YouTube videos, I've already started as a part time make up artist.

I'm sharing you some of my creations:
