Samthingwonderful @ 6

Last Saturday, we celebrated Sam's birthday. She had a simple My Little Pony birthday as she requested for it.

This year, we opted not to print out invites. Instead, we created a Facebook account to invite close friends and relatives.Electronic invites were also sent.

For Sam's outfit, we weren't able to look for my little pony dress, so I bought her this cute Hello Kitty dress instead. I paired it with a pink boots. I also bought a violet Princess Bubblegum blouse at SM. Her Tatay bought her a cute pair of pink Crocs.

Decorations this year were simple but colourful.

As a treat for the kids, my mother and I made this colourful mallow pops. Thanks to sis ACI for the help on how to melt the chocolate. :)

We prepared food for Merienda and Dinner.

For Merienda (afternoon snack) we had the following:
Spaghetti
Pancit Palabok
Goto with Tokwa
Puto and Dinuguan
Fried Chicken
Hotdogs on stick
Fried Lumpia
Pichi Pichi
Buchi

Additional food were served at 5:30 PM which in included Chicken Pastel and Embutido.

To keep the kids busy, I prepared these activities for them! :)

For their first activity, I've searched printable my little pony colouring pages on the internet.
You can visit this link:
http://www.bestcoloringpagesforkids.com/my-little-pony-coloring-pages.html
I've bought boxes of crayons and gave them the colouring sheets. It kept them busy while their parents are savouring the delicious meal prepared for them.

After their first activity, I advised the parents to get food for the kids so they can eat before proceeding with our second activity.

The kids loved this activity the most. We ordered plain cupcakes with just pink frostings and bought different kids of sprinkles at a local shop. Sam have chosen 4 kids to win the award for the "prettiest cupcake design" and I bought cute ballpens as their price.

After the cupcake decorating activity, kids were asked to fall in line to get their mallow pops from Sam.

It's now time for Sam to blow the candle. Kids were asked to gather around and sing the Happy Birthday Song for the birthday girl. We got the birthday cake and cupcakes from Meleri's Baked Goodies.
Both the cake and cupcakes are not that sweet and are moist.

We wrapped the day for the last activity that we prepared was Face Paint for the boys and Paint your Hoofs (using nail polish ) for the girls. I did the facepaint and my good friend Pauline for the nail polish! Thanks Tita Pauline!

After the party, it's time to open the presents!

Thank you everyone for celebrating with us! Shout out to Ninang Candy for helping me prepare. Tita Pauline for the help in the Nail Polish Activity and Tita Ericka, Tito Romel and Calyce for the delicious cake and cupcakes!

The moisturizer texture is smooth, non-sticky and white in color. The scent is mild. This body lotion definitely does what it claims, to protect and heal dry skin. The lotion is non-greasy and absorbs very fast, making dry skin supple and moisturized instantly. On application it quickly penetrates into the skin and provides long time relief from dryness. My skin also remains mosturized even after washing. All in all it is an awesome moisturizer.

What I like about Jergens Ultra Healing Moisturizer:

  • Moisturizes well.
  • Mild fragrance.
  • Absorbs very fast
  • No sticky texture
  • Doesn’t get washed away by water easily
  • A very good quantity given the price.

What I do not like Jergens Ultra Healing Moisturizer:

  • Contains alcohol
